Forty young people, attached to the Youth Guarantee System, have obtained free of charge the Food Handler Card and Carriers Operator Carnetilla through the courses conducted by the Department of Youth.
This training offers them the opportunity to acquire specific knowledge and validate their skills to access jobs that require these professional cards.
The practical classes of the Forklift Operator Card, essential to obtain this Carnet, will be developed in the CIFP Hespérides.
The Youth Guarantee System is a European initiative, subsidized by the European Social Fund, which helps young people between the ages of 16 and 29 who are neither studying nor working to enter the working world in case they have sufficient qualifications, or show access roads to achieve a degree, either formal training or training for employment, to facilitate obtaining a job.
Those interested in this type of training, as well as in employment and professional orientation, can arrange an appointment with the Employment Space of the council calling 968 128 862, Ext 2.
