The training Cartagena yesterday held a meeting at the social premises of Los Dolores, which was attended by more than fifty people who could move their initiatives and know the work done and future challenges of MC
The general secretary of MC Cartagena and spokesman for the municipal group, José López, and the councilors Isabel García and María José Soler, accompanied by the MC spokesman in the Los Dolores Neighborhood Board, Rafael Rodríguez, the vocalist María Bernarda Ferrer, and the Neighborhood and Provincial Coordinator, Enrique Pérez, yesterday held a meeting with the associations, collectives and entities of the deputation of El Plan belonging to the Neighborhood Board of Los Dolores.
This meeting was attended by more than fifty neighbors.
Isabel García started the meeting by briefly reviewing MC's management in the municipal government.
Later, José López made a report on the different actions carried out by the Government in the towns that make up the Neighborhood Board of Los Dolores.
MC, management success in the Neighborhood Board
The Cartagena spokesman recalled yesterday the work of MC at the Neighborhood Board of Los Dolores in which he held the presidency from October 2015 to April 2018, at which time there was the resignation of Antonio Martinez as president for personal reasons.
The PSOE, faithful to its custom of not respecting the pacts and the given word, did not allow another member of MC to occupy the presidency, which caused the loss of this Board in favor of the PP.
MC carried out, during his presidency in the Neighborhood Board of Los Dolores, an efficient management of resources always in permanent contact with associations, groups and neighbors.
During the meeting, José López recalled how "with the presidency of MC, our members were daily on the street and in contact with neighbors, associations and various social groups, echoing the basic and urgent needs of their demands. measure of its possibilities, with the budgets of the own board or transferred to the different councils of the City council ".
In this way, Lopez listed various initiatives such as the improvement of public places, the conservation of public roads, performances in children's games and biosaludables, patching, asphalting, public lighting or maintenance of premises.
Among the places that have been improved are those of Infanta Maria Cristina, Puerto Rico, Empress and Angel Valverde, who has received various investments in 2016 and 2017, leaving for this 2018 projected its completion with the addition of new games for children and biosaludables .
In the same way, the preparation of the petanque court was carried out in the Plaza Exploradores.
Regarding collaboration with the associative fabric, an equitable distribution of the subsidies chapter was made.
On the other hand, thanks to the joint work of the presidency of MC in the Neighborhood Board of Los Dolores with the mayor's office of José López, the improvement and correction of deficiencies of Alfonso XIII Street in different aspects such as car parks, flower beds, trees or control of rainwater.
MC's commitment
Once the new treason of the PSOE has been consummated, with the delivery of the presidency of the Neighborhood Council to the PP, MC, through its representatives Rafael Rodríguez and María Bernarda Ferrer, has begun a necessary work and supervision of the new presidency to through initiatives to improve citizen security;
road safety (Siphon road);
improvement of horizontal and vertical signage in different streets;
the realization of works to improve the capacity of rainwater, drainage and drainage of public roads in charge of the surplus of Hidrogea;
the demand for the implementation by the municipal government of a comprehensive asphalt plan;
the control and monitoring of the investment projects of the 2017 municipal surplus in lighting

This work, as outlined by López, is carried out by "listening and attending in a personal way to all the associations, to solve the day to day of the needs and problems that arise".
Other performances
MC spokesman, José López, also pointed out how he ordered to execute, from the City Hall, the corresponding guarantees for the urban reactivation of Unit 2 of Dolores Este.
Finally, he said, "this project will soon be released after it has already appeared in the Contractor's Profile for a total bid amount of 156,975 euros."
In addition, he recalled that "in 2017, the area of ​​Sustainable Development developed a project of replacement and conservation of asphalt in neighborhoods and councils, for about 500,000 euros with 36 performances.In the area of ​​territorial influence of this Neighborhood Board included three actions, besides the place of the Houses of the Retirement, with an approximate investment of 36,000 euros ".
Regarding the Huerto de las Bolas, he expressed "MC's commitment to the use of the Huerto de las Bolas, and its orderly and controlled opening as a multidisciplinary botanical public recreation space." In this sense, it was urged to carry out "a study by the UPCT with a classification of their species, identification and denomination of them, for which the edition and publication of a book was made with this theoretical work.
Fence actions were also carried out and our intention was to continue advancing in its valorization this 2018 ".
Also, López highlighted the work of the Cartagena-based training in the municipal government in collaboration with the Conservation of Santa Ana Industrial Park to undertake various actions such as improving lighting on the main avenue, as well as investments made in different areas such as gardens and leisure areas.

In sports, the spokesman of MC said that "in our stage of Government, we committed to install artificial turf on the football field of El Bohio in this financial year 2018. Challenges for the future
About the future, work is already being carried out jointly with the neighbors to define the priorities, for which the cartagenerista leader showed the need for progress in working to plan asphalt and street lighting plans;
greater control of street cleaning and gardening;
advance road signs and traffic regulation in some areas, such as the Hispanic America neighborhood, and improve access to this neighborhood in the area of ​​the UCAM.
At the end of the meeting, the neighbors moved various issues affecting the area such as the state of the Carretera del Sifón, the circulatory problems produced after the last rains, the existing need for lack of vertical signage or information signage, security problems, maintenance of gardens or deficiencies in infrastructures, among others.
