Double distinction in the Second International Symposium Environmental Process Engineering and Technologies, held this Friday in Stuttgart.
Two students of the Master's in Renewable Energies of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) have won a prize in the German city: Ana Fernández Guillamón, for the best presentation on the line of research of his doctoral thesis and Andrea Morabito, for the best poster , entitled 'Cost-benefit analysis methodology for Smart Grid projects in developing countries'.
Ana Fernández, who has already received the award for the best Master's Project in Renewable Energies of the UPCT, is an Iberdrola intern and is developing her thesis in the Doctoral Program in Renewable Energies of the Polytechnic, in the line of improving frequency transients in wind generation.
Andrea Morabito, an Italian student of the Master in Renewable Energy, focused her poster on the intelligent connection between producers and consumers of clean energy.
The UPCT student Alfonso Fuentes also presented his TFM during the symposium.
The Polytechnic of Cartagena, which has a double degree agreement with the Universität Stuttgart, was the only invited university whose students exhibited works.
The professor of the School of Industrialists and coordinator of the Master in Renewables, Francisco Vera, also presented during the symposium the paper '0Waste & 0Energy 4 Cleaning Water', in which he explained research lines in Renewable UPCT and projects to develop.
