The involvement of SABIC with the club is part of its commitment to the promotion of base sports as an instrument to encourage integration and the practice of physical activity.
SABIC began its collaboration with La Aljorra-AD Luis Guarch Soccer School with the signing of an agreement on July 6 to sponsor this new team for the next three seasons.
"Betting on sports is to do it for healthy living habits, which brings benefits for the whole society, for us it is a satisfaction to help La Aljorra Soccer School continue to develop its work in the best possible conditions" Juan Alemany, General Director of SABIC Cartagena during the event.
The Club and its football school have more than 35 years of history and with 12 teams and about 230 players in the area, both male and female.
Damián Ros, club president stressed that this team and its new equipment has been possible thanks to the commitment of SABIC.
Ros added that the support of SABIC will increase the sports offer for the population of La Aljorra and the municipality of Cartagena and will enhance the social and sport development work offered by the club to reach many more young people and continue to improve the life of their environment .
Social and neighborhood representatives of La Aljorra wrapped up their presence with the presentation of the team, in an act that was also attended by several political representatives, including the Counselor of Transparency, Participation and Spokesperson, Noelia Arroyo.
The presentation was closed with a family photo and a kick-off by the General Director of SABIC Cartagena, Juan Alemany.
