The jury commissioned to choose the poster that will announce the Carnival of Cartagena in 2019 has met on the morning of this Friday, November 23, to choose the winning work among all submitted to the contest, whose result will be made public at a press conference .
The basement 1 of El Corte Inglés hosts the exhibition with the 25 works presented, which can be visited until next Monday, November 26.
The mayor of Celebrations, Juan Pedro Torralba;
the graphic designer, Alfonso Navarro;
the president of the Casino of Cartagena, Joaquín Ortega;
the president of the Carnival, Carmen Sánchez and the director of the Department of Culture of the City of Cartagena, Fulgencia Plazas, have formed the court that has chosen the winning poster.
The author of the poster with which Cartagena will promote the Carnival - declared of Regional Tourist Interest in 1993 - will also receive a prize of 1,000 euros.
