The Agency for Local Development and Employment, ADLE, and the Federation of Associations of People with Physical and / or Organic Disability, FAMDIF-COCEMFE, signed on Friday, November 23, a collaboration agreement, whose objective is to promote social inclusion and work of people with physical and / or organic disabilities in the municipality of Cartagena.
The councilor of the Economic Area and president of the ADLE, Carmen Martín, and the president of FAMDIF / COCEMFE-MURCIA, Carmen Gil, were in charge of ratifying this agreement.
Carmen Martín has detailed the terms of this agreement between both entities "the agreement aims to promote the social and occupational integration of people with physical and / or organic disabilities of the Municipality of Cartagena and the amount that is reflected is 12,000 euros, with a duration of one calendar year ".
The Agency for Local Development and Employment through the signing of the agreement shows their satisfaction and interest in continuing to develop this project in the municipality of Cartagena, and continue joining efforts to obtain important results in terms of employment.
For her part, Carmen Gil thanked the support of the City of Cartagena and her support for the insertion of this collective because "our people want to work and be one more, and hence the importance of these training actions".
Through this agreement, the ADLE commits to: cooperate in the development of programs of dissemination and social awareness in relation to the problems associated with physical and / or organic disabilities in the municipality;
inform FAMDIF-COCEMFE-Murcia about the various programs related to training and employment;
facilitate the participation of people with physical and / or organic disability in these actions, seeking employment, and facilitate the referral of people seeking employment with physical and / or organic disability of the municipality, to the Labor Integration Service of the municipality of Cartagena .
NEIGHBORHOOD PROGRAM OF THE ADLE
Proof of this commitment is the realization of a Barrios program of the ADLE, with FAMDIF users.
There are 8 members of FAMDIF that participate in this program in schools of the municipality.
The students receive theoretical and practical training in building maintenance, receiving an assistance grant of 10 euros from neighborhood schools in the municipality.
At the moment they are in the Asdrubal School in the neighborhood of Santiago, where they are receiving training in various building maintenance jobs.
They have also done work in the schools of Pozo Estrecho and Miranda, and in a few days they will move to the school of the Barriada Virgen de la Caridad where they will complete their training.
