The CEIP San Isidoro and Santa Florentina received on Thursday, November 22, a 'Menina' award for their educational work against gender violence.
The awards are granted by the Government Delegation in the Autonomous Community, to those institutions, associations or projects that stand out in the Region for their contribution to achieve a more egalitarian and violence-free society
The Councilor for Equality, David Martinez, attended the awards ceremony, being the director of the center and the president of the AMPA responsible for collecting the award from the delegate of the Government of the CARM, Diego Conesa.
For its part, the Councilor for Education, Mercedes García, congratulated the center for this recognition and the great educational work they do to eradicate this social scourge.
