The writer Pilar Aguilar will present her new book, Feminism or barbarism, next Tuesday, November 27, within the framework of the Feminist Encounters organized by Cartagena Piensa, of the Department of Culture.
The event will take place at 20:00 in the Josefina Soria Library of the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center, where Aguilar will present a selection of articles gathered in the volume Feminism or barbarism, which will raise many questions for the debate.
The presentation will be in charge of the Equality Technique and Educational Programs, Caridad Arroyo, of the Department of Equality, which also collaborates in the organization of this activity.

THE AUTHOR
Pilar Aguilar Carrasco (Siles, Jaén, 1946), is one of the most outstanding and respected film critics of current feminism.
Her numerous articles on film analysis and criticism, published in different media, combine her pedagogical facet with a marked feminist consciousness.
Among his books, we must highlight the Intelligent Viewer's Manual (1996), Woman, Love and Sex in Spanish Cinema of the 90s (1998), Are We All Films?
