The City of Cartagena will auction ten parcels of municipal property for a total amount of 3,511,944.97 euros, whose bidding rules have been approved this morning by the Municipal Government Board.
These plots are located in El Algar, where two plots are sold;
the District of the Conception;
The Ventorrillos;
The Urrutias;
The Bohío;
Mills Marfagones;
Cabo de Palos and Mar de Cristal, where two other plots are also on sale.
"We have to continue boosting the urban development of our municipality before the fiasco of the transitory rules.
These plots are buildable and were not subject to these rules, so there is no difficulty in building them, "said the mayor and councilor of the Territory, Strategic Projects, Smart City and Housing, Ana Belén Castejón.
In addition, this action also aims to encourage the urban renewal of the municipality.
"It is important to establish mechanisms that encourage the participation of private initiative in this process, along with the actions we are carrying out and that is why we have launched this process," said Castejón.
The sale of these plots will allow the construction of 112 houses, contributing in this way to the revitalization of these neighborhoods and councils.
All the plots are residential, except one of those located in Cabo de Palos, which is intended for tertiary use and has 1,211 meters, of which 707 can be built.
The parcels to be auctioned come from the mandatory 10% cession and can be built without the need for an urban planning procedure because they are plots already considered residential.
