This Sunday, November 18, was held in Cartagena the seventeenth edition of the Cross of the Artillery, which competed around 3,500 runners.
This race is promoted by the Antiaircraft Artillery Regiment No.73, under the organization of the Cross Artillery Sports Association.
The activity began at around 11:30 am, when the six and fourteen kilometer tests were released.
The winners of the Urban Cross were Antonio Martínez Ardil and Sandra García-Pagán, in the male and female category respectively.
Martinez Ardil obtained a time of 19 minutes and 25 seconds, while that of Rqiq was 19 minutes and 26 seconds;
and in the third place Roberto Sánchez finished, who stopped the clock with a time of 20 minutes and 3 seconds.
For its part, the runner Sandra García-Pagán reached the finish line after 24 minutes and 14 seconds of the race, while María José Roca Solana came in second with a time of 24 minutes and 24 seconds;
and the third, Tania Salamanca Ruiz, in 25 minutes and 28 seconds.
On the other hand, Iván Hernández repeated victory in the Carrera del Faro, in the men's category, followed by Raúl Guevara;
and Benjamín Gutiérrez.
In the women's category, Beatriz Ríos took first place, followed by Marta Garrido and María López.
Simón Guasp and Eva María Sánchez were the winners of the Urban Mile.
The sports event and the awards ceremony was attended by the Councilor for Sports, Manuel Mora.
