The Center for Women of the Mediterranean Urbanization has launched the XXVIII Poetry Contest of the Women's Center and the XXII Angel Flores Painting Contest, for which it has the collaboration of the Department of Equality of the City of Cartagena, in addition of the Association of Neighbors.
The winners of both competitions will be announced with the decision of the jury, in an event that will take place on March 9, 2019, at 20.30, at the social site of Urbanization Mediterranean.
POETRY
The XXVIII Poetry Contest, in which all those who have not published a book of poetry can participate, includes in its bases the theme, which will be free, and the prizes, a first one, endowed with 300 euros and a trophy, and a second prize, 150 euros and trophy.
The term of admission of works will end on February 25, 2019.
PAINTING
As regards the XXII Painting Contest, it is aimed at people over 18 who reside in the Region of Murcia, any pictorial technique in full color will be admitted, and the subject will be free.
Each author may submit up to three works, within a period from January 4 to March 4, 2019, and must do so in 'Pinceladas', in Amethyst Street of Urbanization Mediterranean.
Just as the Poetry Contest, for Painting two prizes have been established, the first of 300 euros and trophy, and the second of 150 euros and trophy.
The two winning works will become property of the Women's Center.
