More than 1,500 runners from 57 schools in the municipality will compete next Thursday, November 15, the School Cross of the 2018/2019 academic year.
The activity, which is part of the program of Physical Activity and Sports in School Age of the Department of Sports and is organized in collaboration with the General Directorate of Sports of the Region of Murcia, will be held at the Speed ​​Circuit of Cartagena, a 10:00 am
The students will be accompanied by their teachers and will run the following distances according to their category:
Juvenile and male cadet: 3,500 meters
Juvenile and female cadet: 2,500 meters
Infantile male and female: 2,000 meters
Male and female fry: 1,500 meters
Benjamins male and female: 1,000 meters
The first three teams classified in each category and modality will obtain a trophy and the first three individual qualifiers will be awarded with a medal, as well as the members of the teams classified in the first three positions.
The trophy presentation will take place at the end of the test, around 12:30 hours.
