Today, the newspaper La Verdad reported the start of remodeling work on Calle Beatas and its perpendiculars.

This action was promoted from the municipal government of MC in the spring of 2017 and contracted in September of the same year thanks to the impulse of the area of ​​Sustainable Development, directed by the cartagenerista formation.

This morning, the spokesman of the Municipal Group MC Cartagena, José López, accompanied by the president of the formation, Jesus Giménez, have known the works that are being developed in the area.

Also, López and Giménez have collected complaints from neighbors in the face of serious problems that suffer from accessibility and mobility, without offering any solution from the municipal government of the PSOE.

"The deadlines speak for themselves: the Government of Castejón has taken more than a year to launch this Beatas Street project for its inability to address and approve the budgets of 2018," denounced José López.

The mayor of Cartagena explained that "the remodeling of Beatas street and its adjacent streets, work driven from our training, is part of our comprehensive commitment to the recovery of the historic center, degraded after twenty years of neglect of popular government and now suffers also the negligence of Castejón and his team ".

"The neighbors of the historic center, like those of the rest of the municipality, pay the consequences of the lack of capacity of Castejón, since, once again, it is demonstrated that all the advances of this legislature are the product of the work of MC", has reviewed López.

In this sense, it is worth mentioning, by way of example, the works executed by MC on Avenida Trovero Marín, in the vicinity of Calle San Fernando or in the auditorium of Torres Park.

The MC spokesman concluded by lamenting that "other important works such as the Plaza del Lago, the ascent to San Diego, Cuatro Santos, Gisbert, the Las Graduadas building, the surroundings of the Amphitheater or the Despeñaperros hill, actions led from MC, are suffering from the blockade of the PSOE and remain in the pipeline for the benefit of the payment of network hours and salary increases to socialists ".

Currently, and despite the obvious blockade of the PSOE to the advancement of the municipality, are already underway various works promoted by MC such as the mill and the Plaza del Monte Sacro, Calle Beatas and adjacent, San Diego, Anfiteatro or the performance on the facade of Santa María de Gracia, which counted on the vote in favor of the Cartagena training.
