The Local Police of the City of Cartagena will celebrate on Tuesday, November 12, San Leandro, patron of this Body since December 1970. The commemoration of this year will be focused on the policewoman.
Cartagena has 27 female agents, being the first municipality in the Region to incorporate a woman into its workforce, and it was one of the first cities in Spain to do so.
The commemorative acts of the Local Police will begin at 10:30 am celebrated the traditional Mass in Santo Domingo, which will be attended by the Mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, and the Councilor for Citizen Participation, Juan Pedro Torralba.
Later, at 12:30 hours, local police will be trained in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, before entering the auditorium of the Roman Theater where an institutional event will be held.
Finally, at 1:30 p.m., an aperitif will be served at the Club de Regatas.
