The town of El Algar held last Saturday, November 10, its third Fair of Associations in the Civic Center, with the collaboration of the City of Cartagena.
The event was attended by the Councilman of Celebrations, Juan Pedro Torralba;
and the Councilor for Social Services, Mercedes García;
as well as other councilors of the local administration such as Francisco Espejo, Carolina Palazón;
Esperanza Nieto and Diego Ortega, of the Popular Party.
The day began with a chocolate by the Association of Housewives, as well as a petanque and parchís championship;
followed by a cycle route;
and a release of Doves.
Later a workshop of plates, a demonstration of Bolillo took place;
a show with the Magician Guillermo Avilés;
and a demonstration of Spanish dance by the Spanish Capricho Academy;
as well as a Trial exhibition and a Zumba master class.
At midday it was the turn of the giant paella, paid for by the Neighborhood Board of El Algar;
followed by a salsa master class;
mattresses;
table games;
bobbin show;
dance show;
snack;
and theater class.
In short, an associative meeting between citizens, which aims to make known to all residents the variety of activities that are carried out from these groups.
