The artisan products of the Mercado de Epoca already populate the streets of the Old Quarter of Cartagena.
The Jewish, Arab and Christian cultures will be protagonists of the activities that will take place during this weekend - from 9 to 11 November - under the slogan 'Three Cultures'.
The mayor of Social Services, Mercedes García, opened this Friday, November 9, the Vintage Market and visited some of the 140 craft and food booth that make up the show where you can find artisan products such as honey, salted meats, sausages , oils but also wooden toys, silver beads, seeds, glass and natural cosmetics, among many others.
In addition, 25 of these stops are run by artisans from the municipality of Cartagena who until next Sunday, November 11, will be in the streets of Casco Antiguo selling their products.
Among the activities organized by the City of Cartagena in the framework of the program of the 'Three Cultures', this year, as a novelty, four exhibitions have been programmed based on the recreation of different eras.
Thus, there will be an exhibition of medieval costumes, weapons and Jewish, Christian and Arab accessories.
Another novelty of this edition lies in the 1st Meeting of Antiques, which will take place on Sunday, November 11 from 10:30 am.
On the other hand, during the weekend there will be 18 exhibitions of old crafts, with which visitors can see firsthand how they work goldsmiths, glassblowers, bakers, blacksmiths, potters, photographers, etc.
For the second year in a row, the Bolilleras Meeting will take place, which will start at 10:30 am on Saturday, November 10.
So that the little ones can also enjoy and learn more about these cultures, two recreational spaces have been set aside in the San Francisco and Risueño squares, where there will be a carousel, ferris wheel and playroom, as well as puppet theater, storytelling and makeup area.
All these spaces will have specialized monitors.
