Among the participants, university students, military personnel and students from a dozen schools and institutes of the Region stand out, with which the figures of the two previous editions have been surpassed.
In addition, this Sunday more than 300 riders will participate in the I Cross Regional Mixed Relay to be held on the same running circuit of the Cartagena campus of the Catholic University.
Once again, the Cross of Los Dolores Presidential Trophy of the San Antonio Catholic University, which was held today at the Campus of the UCAM in Cartagena, has exceeded the participation of previous editions, reaching 600 runners in its third round.
On this occasion, the number of participating schools has also increased, adding up to a dozen with the presence of the San Vicente de Paúl de Cartagena and Murcia schools, Leonardo Da Vinci of Los Belones, Miralmonte, Sagrado Corazón, Maristas and Saint John Bosco of Salesians, together with the Ben Arabi, Mediterranean and San Isidoro Institutes.
In addition, the university and military categories have had a greater response than in other occasions in which this sporting event has been held, organized by the UCAM with the collaboration of the General Directorate of Sports of the Autonomous Community, the Department of Sports of the City Council of Cartagena and Coca Cola.
In the competition were present the Spanish athlete who has won the most Olympic medals, David Cal;
the general director of Sports of the Autonomous Community, Alonso Gómez López;
the Councilman of Sports of the Cartagena Consistory Manuel Mora;
and the General Director of Sports of the UCAM, Pablo Rosique.
The competition has been organized by the Sports Activities Service of the UCAM with the collaboration of students of the Degree in Sciences of Physical Activity and Sports of the Campus of Cartagena, while students of the Degree in Physiotherapy have collaborated to the recovery of athletes and those of the Degrees of Infantile and Primary Education.

In addition, to host this test, the Campus of the UCAM in Cartagena will host the presentation of the athletics team UCAM Cartagena and on Sunday the Regional Cross Mixed Relay in which more than 300 athletes will participate.
