On Friday, November 9, the FICC47 program was presented at the Palacio Consistorial de Cartagena.
During this presentation, the Mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón Hernández, the Councilor of the Department of Culture, Tourism and Equality of the City of Cartagena, David Martínez Noguera, the Minister of Transparency, Participation and Spokesperson of the Region of Murcia, Noelia Arroyo Hernández, the President of the FICC, Ignacio Ros Pérez, and the director of the FICC, Esther Baeza Navarro, commented on the highlights of what will be the forty-seventh edition of the Cartagena International Film Festival.
One more year, the FICC has the official sponsorship of the City of Cartagena, which has been betting on the festival since its birth.
It also has the collaboration of sponsors who continue to support it year after year (ESTRELLA DE LEVANTE, MT HELMINS, EASYCOFFEE, CAJAMURCIA, TKROM, KUNDAKA, LHICARSA and LA MANGA RENT A CAR) and of those that are incorporated in this edition, such as TERRA FECUNDIS, TELECARTAGENA, official television of the FICC, or the PORT AUTHORITY.
The AUTONOMOUS COMMUNITY OF THE REGION OF MURCIA also returns to lend its patronage through the ICA, EUROPE DIRECT and COSTA CÁLIDA.
The FICC47 will take place from November 25 to December 1, and almost 70 films will be screened between long and short films.
The main novelty this year is that the main headquarters of the FICC, which until now had been the Nuevo Teatro Circo, will be the El Batel Auditorium.
In addition, the Luzzy headquarters will also be maintained.
And a CINEMA CONTAINER has been installed in the esplanade of the port of Cartagena, where winning short films of previous years and programming advances will be screened, as well as serving as an information point for all those interested in the festival.
