Cartagena breathed the air of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries this weekend, which saw the proclamation of the third Modernist Exhibition, the presentation of the II CUP modernist football tournament;

and the II Exhibition of Hooks of Tradition, within the framework of the Modernist Week of the municipality.

The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, was in charge of offering the proclamation of the third Modernist Exhibition in Plaza San Francisco, where she was accompanied by the councilman of Celebrations, Juan Pedro Torralba;

the councilor of the Commerce area, Carmen Martín del Amor;

and the Councilor for Social Services, Mercedes García.

Likewise, the port of Cartagena and the Cuesta de El Batel were the scene of the Second Exhibition of Carriages of Horses and Carriages of Time, organized by the Club de Enganches de Cartagena AURIGA, in collaboration with the City of Cartagena, the Royal Club of Enganche de Cartagena and the Modernist Association Cartagena de Mi Alma.

Until that moment the councilman of Festejos, Juan Pedro Torralba, moved there;

and the councilors of the corporation Diego Ortega, of the PP;

and Francisco Calderón, from MC Cartagena, who presented the prizes.

On the other hand, the Councilor for Sports, Manolo Mora, attended the parade and presentation of the II CUP Modernist Football Tournament of the categories Benjamín and Prebenjamín, which is being held in the municipal area of ​​Barrio Peral and José María de Lapuerta and in The 16 teams participate.
