Yesterday took place the mythical and spectacular New York marathon.
Fifty thousand participants toured the Big Apple, from the Verazano Bridge to Central Park, running through Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, Harlem and the Bronx.
A member of the club four Santos Cartagena experienced in the distance of the marathon, as it is Francisco Mallorquín Jiménez participated, stopping the clock in 4h30m
ESTHER WINS THE MAGIC YETI AND THE COMBINED
In the municipality of Mula, the ninth edition of the Yeti trail 2018 took place.
Weekend with various mountain trials, of different distances and difficulty.
On Saturday there was the hardest and most demanding test among all the celebrations.
The Magic Yeti, over a distance of almost 70 kilometers and 3,300 meters of positive height gain.
The runner of the club four Santos Cartagena Esther Sanchez Perez, was won with a time of just over 9 hours.
The next day, the Mini Yeti was held, which consisted of another 24-kilometer route with a difference of 1,200 meters.
Esther also took the podium, this time being the third in the M40 category.
THE FOUR SANTOS CARTAGENA CLUB IN THE MANGA RUNNING CHALLENGE
There was also representation of the Cartagenero club, in this test with departure from Playa Paraiso.
Francisco Amoraga Lara and Francisco Javier Esteban Castaño, were the runners who participated in the half marathon, with times of 1h49m and 1h54m respectively.
