- The orange training complaint that has been running since June trying to know what plans the Government of Cartagena has to start up the pool, "is a simple question for which you expect an answer as simple," said the spokesman for Cs Cartagena, Manuel Padín
Cartagena, Friday, November 2.
Citizens will take to the next Plenary for the third time a question about the reasons why the pools of the Palace of Sports of Cartagena are not operational, "in the first two occasions, the PSOE Government decided not to answer our questions, but I have to say that we will record the same question again and again until they do, "said the spokesman for Citizens in Cartagena, Manuel Padín.
In June, Ciudadanos asked about the serious problems that the Palace of Sports of Cartagena still suffers today, among others, the absence of isolation in the spaces where the swimming pools are located.
The then responsible of the area of Sports, Obdulia Gómez, responded that she did not understand the question.
In the session held last Tuesday, the orange formation tried again but the local government, this time through the mayor Manuel Mora, again dodged the issue focusing on other questions of Cs, "with so many evasive, it is normal that we believe that They are trying to hide from the citizens of Cartagena what happens with these spaces, we have no other objective than to diagnose the problems that the Palace still has and correct the dysfunctions to have the great sports facilities that Cartagena deserves. "
"At the moment, what has been said since 2015 is that the pool does not have the insulation required to prevent the chlorine vapor, highly corrosive, can easily spread throughout the room and damage and rust the entire roof inside the Palace in a few months, "explained Manuel Padín who says that his group wants to confirm these extremes, and get an idea of what needs to be done to solve it, if it is necessary to protect the facilities with some material, do works to isolate the pool or that we are wrong and there is no problem which we will celebrate, the answer is not so complicated ".
On the other hand, Ciudadanos recriminates the Government of the PSOE that did not answer their questions about the Local Police and the Cemetery of San Ginés de la Jara.
On the occasion of the letter that the union UGT transferred to the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, in which they transferred their despair and impotence due to the suffocating lack of personnel and means in the Local Police, Cs asked for explanations and to know the level of compliance with the Strategic Plan of the Local Police of Cartagena.
In addition, Cs asked the Socialist Executive if he planned to install lighting in the municipal cemetery of San Ginés de la Jara, located next to the highway of La Manga del Mar Menor, and if he had any plan to stop the deterioration of some cemetery pantheons.
The PSOE promised to answer both questions in writing, "although we present them in a timely manner, one of them, the Local Police, was presented 22 days before the Plenary," laments Manuel Padín.
