A work that, after the forced parenthesis caused by the Socialist Executive with the breach of the government pact, the Cartagena training aims to repeat from June 2019, returning to a dynamic of global growth and responsible from the criteria of "efficiency, responsibility , closeness, direct attention and knowledge of reality ".
An action governed by inalterable principles that have been shown to be effective, taking into account the accounting balance achieved by MC in the first years of the legislature.
Thus, the results obtained by MC after 'inheriting' a devastated municipality after the stage of Alonso and Barreiro presage an encouraging future, supported by a work team capable of solving the effects of a grotesque indebtedness (175 million);
the high tax burden suffered by the neighbors;
an aging and unstructured municipal staff, in addition to suffering from a government that has been folded to the concessionaires;
maintainer of its clientelar network in contracts for works and services;
that marginalized the neighborhoods and councils and abandoned the heritage, while it was meant as the most polluted municipality in Spain.
On the other hand, we faced a discriminatory reality consented by the superior administrations;
with the first public hospital in Spain closed;

MC, effective government

After this statement, Lopez has listed the outstanding number of actions resulting from the management of MC, completed or underway, despite the inability of the current government.
MC Cartagena leader has continued to review some of the issues that have centered the agenda of his training and whose push has facilitated important progress.
Progress in the materialization of the Logistics Activities Zone of Los Camachos;
commitment to the decontamination of El Hondón, Zincsa and Peñarroya;
the bidding of the Benipa baipas;
the opening of the Palace of Sports and the generalization of artificial turf facilities;
the Mobility Plan 'M17';
the reforestation of the municipality, or the excavation and valorization of forgotten heritage sites (Amphitheater, Master Plan of the Cathedral or Monastery of San Ginés de la Jara).
The future project of MC for Cartagena

In the agenda of Cartagena are issues related to health and neighborhood welfare as the operation of Rosell one hundred percent or the lack of benefits of the hospital in Santa Lucia;
the recovery of the Mar Menor;
the decontamination of the lands of Hondón, Zincsa and Peñarroya;
the decontamination of the Sierra de Cartagena;

Challenges for the future

In the field of social services and equality, with priority attention to groups with a greater degree of vulnerability;

Also in the sports field, optimizing, as we have promoted this legislature, the forgotten sports facilities and guaranteeing the conditions to make the promotion of sport a habit of healthy life.

Whether we are from here or there, people need whoever defends them.
There are the priority issues that have dragged on for two decades and that only in this legislature have begun to see the light.
Our municipality, the region and the future province need decent and competent people, since on financial autonomy it is possible to build a better municipality.
Generating more own resources we improve the municipality and the attention to the citizen, without forgetting to improve the conditions of public employment and to rejuvenate the staff with new oppositions, because with more personnel we will arrive at a better service.

The devastating consequences of the 'Caostejón' effect
