Among the more than 500 works received to participate in the FICC47,31 short films have been selected: eleven in the OFFICIAL SECTION (national and foreign shorts) and twenty in MURCINE (short films by filmmakers in the Region of Murcia).

The selected short films will be screened during the week of the festival, which will take place from November 25 to December 1.

The short films of the OFFICIAL SECTOR will compete for the 3,000 euros with which the Best Short Film is awarded and, in addition, there will be recognitions for the Best Direction, Photography, Screenplay and Interpretation.

On the other hand, in the section MURCINE, the first prize 'Carabela de Plata City of Cartagena' is endowed with 1,500 euros, while the second, the 'Submarino Peral', is with 500 euros.

The Jury of the FICC47 will be composed of:

-Javier García, Director of C-FEM, European Fantastic Film Festival of Murcia

-Susana Torrado, PhD in CommunicationAudiovisual and professor in the Faculty of Communication and Documentation of the University of Murcia

- Roberto Alfaro, scriptwriter, teacher and tutor of the Master in Creation of Audiovisual Scripts of the University of La Rioja.
