'Little archaeologists' in the Barrio del Foro Romano is the children's workshop that Cartagena Port of Cultures offers within the Week of Science and Technology ('SeCyT' 18).
The activity is free, previous registration, and will be held on Saturday, October 27.
The Week of Science and Technology of the Region of Murcia, which takes place from October 26 to 28, has programmed more than 400 activities under the theme "Imagine it with science".
This week is aimed at young people and seeks to encourage their curiosity through different experiences, as is the case of the workshop offered by Cartagena Puerto de Culturas.
With 'Little archaeologists' is intended to awaken interest and appreciation for heritage, archeology and history among children.
The children's activity will be held on Saturday, October 27, starting at 5:00 p.m.
In the workshop the children will have the opportunity to explore, excavate and restore fragments of paintings that remain to be discovered in the Barrio del Foro Romano with their own hands.
They will become archaeologists for a few hours.
This free activity will last 1 hour 30 minutes and is aimed at children between 6 and 12 years old who will be asked to participate actively.
