During the course of the next ordinary plenary session, the councilor of MC Cartagena, María José Soler, will once again request information to clarify whether the sanctioning case has been resolved definitively, through administrative proceedings, against the popular councilor Álvaro Valdés for planning violations.
It should be recalled that, during the last plenary session, the mayor of Cartagena asked about the status of the proceedings against the mayor of the PP, who allegedly filed allegations.
After a reasonable period of time, Soler will ask to clarify if the process and the result thereof have come to an end.
The councilor of MC has stated that "the sanction procedure was opened on February 14, more than enough time for the interested parties to have a notification, if not, we would like to know the reasons why the sanctions against the councilor Valdés ".
"In the case of a resolution," María José Soler continued, "it is in the public interest to know in what terms it has occurred, as well as the purification of political responsibilities in relation to the councilman who avoided initiating the process, Francisco Espejo, as well like Valdés himself. "
As the councilor recalled, "the infraction was uncovered by the MC Cartagena municipal group that, after examining the files relating to the buildings adjacent to the acquired by expropriation for expansion of the administrative building, discovered the business interests of Álvaro Valdés in the zone and a possible illegal work, denounced by agents of the Local Police, a fact that came to join the demonstrations of many neighbors who complained about how the popular councilman boasted of his influence in the City Council.
Then, Soler has put the accent on Francisco Espejo, "who failed to comply with their obligations to not open the proper sanctioning record when he was councilor of Urbanism, obviating his vocation of public service, as he did with himself and his chalet."
Finally, the municipal councilor MC has ruled that "the procedure is another proof of integrity for the PSOE." In this case, as in others, they must decide whether they are in the general interest and compliance with the regulations, or let languish The record in exchange for other stickers would not be surprising, because it is a relationship that we suffered in Cartagena for more than twenty years ".
