Agents of the Local Police of Cartagena detained a 50-year-old man on the afternoon of Monday, October 22, for the alleged crime of a robbery with force and intimidation.
The events took place at 6:50 p.m., when the agents went to the Paseo Alfonso XII after receiving notice of the 112 that warned about the persecution of one person to another in the Port area.
Apparently, the individual would have torn from the neck a gold chain to a man of English nationality of 60 years who was accompanied by his wife.
Thanks to the collaboration of a military man, who was out of service and retained the author of the theft until the arrival of the police officers, the alleged perpetrator was arrested and police proceedings were ordered.
