San Antonio Catholic University receives the fifth promotion of the Los Dolores Campus with leisure activities, a paella and a sample of sports clubs and clubs in the city with which it collaborates.

In addition, the new university students received a welcome pack and information on the different services.

The university students that have started this course their studies in the Campus of the UCAM of the Cartagena neighborhood of Los Dolores have enjoyed throughout the morning of the University Welcoming Day #HolaUCAM, in which they have been able to enjoy a fun and informative day of coexistence in which the San Antonio Catholic University has promoted the participation of its students in sports, internships and volunteering activities.

For this, in the central square of the campus, leisure activities have been installed, a sample of historical nursing costumes, stand of the UCAM Tennis Clubs of Cartagena Table, UCAM Athletics Cartagena and Cartagena FC UCAM, as well as service information points of the university as the Labor Information and Guidance Service, the Sports Activities service, iradio, International Department with its Language courses and exchange programs, UCAM Store with sports equipment and discount merchandising products.

ESport and 15 associations

Among the participants in this day were the players of the UCAM Table Tennis Cartagena and Jesus Cantero, as well as members of the eSports team, with which the students could try out FIFA19 and Dragon Ball Z Fighters games.

To start the University Welcome, the new students participated in a talk in which the Technological Institute of Murcia presented its new workshops, mentoring for entrepreneurs and their new app Talentikum;

and then the FADE Foundation, the Multiple Sclerosis Association and Mundi Teachers presented the new projects that they want to develop in collaboration with the UCAM.

In addition, different raffles were held, the Santa Ana Club offered discounts for university students and 15 non-profit entities of the Comarca with which the UCAM has an agreement offered students the possibility of volunteering.

Finally, a great paella was made for the university community.
