Francisco José Diaz Pozo, Oscar De Francisco Ortiz and Manuel López Salcedo won the general classification of the I Mountain Trail La Azohía, held this Sunday, October 21.
For their part, Lourdes Heredia López, Inmaculada Tonda Mena and Esther Sánchez Pérez, did the same in the women's category.
The race was organized by Linea de Salida and by the Department of Sports of the city of Cartagena.
The race began at 9:00 am from the San Ginés Beach in La Azohía and finished at Juan Paredes Square (next to the church).
That's where the Councilor for Sports, Manuel Mora, moved to deliver the trophies to the winners.
Francisco José Diaz Pozo finished the first test in a time of 1:04:20, Oscar De Francisco Ortiz was second with a time of 1:06:05 and Manuel López Salcedo finished it in third place in 1:07:04.
The first female to enter the finish line was Lourdes Heredia Lopez in a time of 1:18:41, the second one was Immaculate Tonda Mena with 1:20:26, and with the third place Esther Sánchez Pérez in a time of 1: 20:26.

The distance of the test was 14 kilometers, with an accumulated unevenness of +820 meters.
The route ran on asphalt in the two initial kilometers, the rest being by mountain with some stretches of track, mostly overlooking the sea.
The race had a medium-high level of technical difficulty, so it was not advisable for non-beginners in mountain races.
