From Podemos we will convene an informative talk in the town of La Azohía, where experts like María Giménez, Podemos deputy in the Regional Assembly, Pedro García of ANSE, and ADELA representatives will participate, as well as the neighbors of the Neighborhood Association of the Azohía to expose the situation that is experienced in the town with the massive arrival of motorhomes in the autumn-winter season.
After the announcement of the arrival of a strong storm, in the form of "cold drop", in the coming days, to the Region of Murcia, and more specifically to the municipality of Cartagena, and the news appeared today in The Truth about the conclusion of experts in climatology warning that the "cold drops" will become more frequent in our environment, We can see that currently in La Azohía there are several motorhomes stationed in the same channel and mouth of the ravine, a situation that poses a serious risk not only for its occupants, but for the natural environment of the area.
The purple formation requires the Municipal Government to execute urgently the motion presented by CTSSP in May of this same year, and that was approved unanimously, and warn the owners of the caravans and motorhomes that park both in La Azohía, as in the different plots used for this purpose, in addition to placing informative signs of the prohibition to park, and the application of sanctions for the risk involved in occupying the channel of the ravine.
From Podemos they announce that in the next Plenary will present an initiative that reinforces the one presented by their group in the Regional Assembly, in this month of October, which makes reference to the City Councils must adapt their urban plans to avoid tragedies such as recently occurred in Mallorca.
The motion presented by the deputy María Giménez in the Commission of Territorial Policy, Environment, Agriculture and Water, asks that territorial planning plans be adapted to the flooding conditions of their municipalities.
From We can affirm that at the moment the urban plans generate that they occupy ramblas and channels that "causes that episodes worse are lived when there are rains or adverse meteorological phenomena", reasons for which the purple formation urged the regional Government to force the City councils, to adapt their plans and, in the case of not doing so, to prevent them from carrying out modifications in their plans to requalify or reclassify the land.
To conclude, CTSSP announced that on October 23 they will hold a talk in the town of La Azohía, which will be attended by experts, to inform of the serious risk that the channels of the boulevards are occupied by homes, and by all kinds of vehicles and materials, including motorhomes.
In the same will be presented proposals to the neighbors and the City of Cartagena to solve this serious problem.
