The ONCE Foundation has conveyed its satisfaction to the Mayoress of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, and to the manager at that time of the Agency for Local Development and Employment (ADLE), Manuel Mora, for his collaboration and involvement in the roadshow that took place in September and that, during three days, it became an office to promote the labor insertion of young people with disabilities.
More than 500 people came to this traveling office that provided job counseling services.
In addition, thanks to the roadshow, sixty young people have joined the employment database.
"The employment of people with disabilities is one of the priorities of this government team that believes in the equality of people.
From the Consistory we want all Cartagena and Cartagena have the same opportunities, and this type of projects are important to achieve it, "said the mayor.
In the meeting held today at the Consistorial Palace, both the regional director of the Inserta Empleo program, Delia Torralba, and the director of ONCE in Cartagena, Miguel Paraíso, wanted to express their gratitude to the City of Cartagena and, specifically , to the ADLE, for their active collaboration in this initiative.
