The I Open Kitefoil FVRM Terramovil-Terra Fecundis already has its first podium: Alex Climent, Xantos Villegas and Carlos Puis.
A first edition that has had the 'lung' in Los Narejos, in the Spinosa Center in front of the beach of Las Salinas and that has been marked by adverse weather conditions, with very little wind that has made it impossible to move the 'comets'.
An appointment that also had in its program the first Kitesurf Mar Menor Crossing and that before that little wind, but especially the strong shower in the last day left, to the 300 sailors in the sand of the beach without being able to sail.
The Kitefoil could 'do something' in Las Salinas.
The class closed its participation in the Mar Menor, after three days of competition, with 10 tests being able to set the first podium in a test driven by the Sailing Federation of the Region of Murcia, with the unconditional support of the class and Spinosa Center, in addition to the sponsorship of Terramovil and Terra Fecundis.
The Valencian Alex Climent took the first place, highlighting 8 partial wins over the 10 completed tests.
In the following two signed a 4th and a 3rd, two results that would be removed after applying 2 discards.
The podium was closed with the Mexican Xantos Villegas who was 8 points behind the winner.
Carlos Puig, meanwhile, finished third to 15 points from Clement, highlighting in his locker 2 partial wins.
The trophies ceremony, held at the Spinosa-Center, was presided over by Nicolás Ruíz, Sports Councilor of Los Alcázares;
Fernando Chacón, Terramovil and Ignacio Zulueta, manager of the Sailing Federation of the Region of Murcia
