The councilmen David Martinez Noguera and Mercedes Garci'a received Thursday Thursday in the Consistorial Palace to Pedro Belmonte Aranda, professor of the School Patronato Sacred Heart of Jesus of the Casco ASntiguo de Cartagena, that has been name by his students to the prizes 'Educa Abanca 2018', that recognize the best teacher in Spain.
Pedro Belmonte, who is an English teacher at the Board, is also a social educator and has developed the 'ABP' method, project-based learning, as well as the bilingual plan of the educational center.
Both ediles have congratulated him for this nomination of which "he should feel very proud, because the best prize you can give a teacher is that your students and their families value your work so highly as to present you for the best teacher award from Spain".
