The City of Cartagena has done its duties in social responsibility.
A study prepared by the University of Murcia gives the City Council a score of 8.4 out of 10 in this area during 2018, thus achieving the highest score of all the municipalities of the Region, being the only one that has obtained a 10 in the Economic and Financial Information block.
The results of this report have been presented this morning in the law room of the Faculty of Law on the campus of La Merced, in an act that has been attended by the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, along with the mayors and councilors of the rest of the 24 municipalities of the Region and the president of the Regional Federation of Municipalities and Provinces, Joaquín Hernández.
The mayor thanked the great work done by the City Council technicians in everything related to Corporate Social Responsibility.
"Thanks to public employees Cartagena has achieved the best score of all the municipalities of the Region.
It has been a pleasure to come here this morning because it has allowed us to see the indicators of the impact on citizens of the policies we implement from the administrations ", explained Castejón.
The president of the Regional Federation of Municipalities and Provinces has congratulated the City Council and the government team for this result, noting that "has not been satisfied to comply with the legal precepts but has worked to go further and has obtained unbeatable results ", Hernandez has indicated.
During the event we analyzed the data with which the study was conducted, discussed the innovation programs in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility that have been applied by the town councils, as well as the training plans provided for public employees.
