The programming of the Autumn T-La starts this October with a total of 78 activities aimed at young people between 14 and 35 years, and has had the participation of 29 youth groups, as well as a budget of 10,000 euros for its development.
The presentation took place this Thursday, October 4, in the Press Room of the Consistorial Palace, by the hand of the mayor of Youth, David Martínez Noguera;
and the person in charge of the program, José María Lloret.
The mayor has indicated that in the section of workshops and training courses have been scheduled a total of 19 courses, including among them: digital animation, sign language, robotics, voice and dubbing, comics, battery initiation and recycling, among others , as well as a training course aimed at youth groups to offer them the necessary work tools to carry out procedures, grant applications or the preparation of a project.
After the success obtained in the previous edition, they return Las noches de recursos juveniles.
The Youth Resource Center "Cristina Esparza Martín" will open its facilities on Friday, October 26, November 30 and December 28, offering those interested a wide range of activities related to cooking, textile printing, music therapy, belly dancing , monologues and short films, all free except for the cooking workshops that will have a contribution of 10 euros.
Also, this year the Astronomy Nights will continue at the hand of the Astronomical Association of Cartagena and in which they will talk about Saturn, the Sun and the stars.
These activities will take place from 10 pm at the Astronomical Observatory located at the Youth Center of Canteras on Friday, October 5, November 16 and December 14.
As for the expected getaways and trips, the T-LA of Autumn schedules visits to the cities of Salamanca and Toledo - from December 13 to 15 - in the hands of the Euronation Association, which joins the promoter group;
and after the proposals received in social networks, from 15 to 16 December will return to the city of Granada to enjoy its cuisine, its history and culture.
On the weekend of October 27-28, the Interasociative Meeting will be held, which this year celebrates its 19th edition and where all the associations and youth groups of the city will meet again to make the work known to the public. that develop throughout the year.
These same days, the Youth Craft Market will also be held, in which any young person between 14 and 35 years old who handles any object can participate.
Lloret has indicated that for both activities an enrollment period has been set until October 16, at the same time that he has indicated that of the 78 activities, 17 are totally free, although a prior registration must be made.
The program of activities will be complemented with activities related to hiking, canyoning, capoiera, bicycle routes, board games, dramatized routes, Tai Chi, Pilates, ice skating, Halloween and Christmas workshops among other activities that can be consulted in the complete program of the T-LA that accompanies this information.

This Saturday, October 6 and also in Autumn Tla, will be held the second edition of the Urban Culture Festival UrbanCtFest in a conference whose objective is to publicize all the modalities of this culture in the municipality and generate a space for coexistence, exchange of knowledge and skills through exhibitions and competitions, under the basic principles of equality, respect and alternative leisure.
That same day, the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, by unanimous decision of the Municipal Plenary, will discover a plaque in the Urban Sports Park, in homage to Ignacio Echevarría, skateboarder who died in the London bombings of 2017.
BALANCE OF THE SUMMER T-2018
In the programming of the TLA of Summer 2018, 110 activities were developed, for which a total of 10,000 euros were invested and whose organization was supported by 28 associations and youth groups.
3,417 people participated in the broad block of activities programmed and distributed throughout the quarter.
Among the most successful activities of participation we highlight visits to the Island of Tabarca, Formentera, Aqualandia water park, trip to Cantabria and those developed in the Mar Menor: canoeing, wakeboarding, rowing, snorkeling and kayat.
The Nights of Astronomy have returned to be a benchmark gathering more than 300 participants, being the Night of the Perseids (or Tears of San Lorenzo) the most demanded.
Once again, thank the Astronomical Association of Cartagena for organizing them.
The various camps organized by the youth associations had the participation of 250 young people, 145 in the different training courses, 20 in the field of youth volunteering and more than 2,700 in the different activities scheduled during the months of July to September.
