'Rosas Blancas', based on the novel 'Carta de una desconocida' by Stefan Zweig, will be performed on October 19 at the Municipal Auditorium of 'El Batel'.
The Department of Culture has encouraged this representation, on the occasion of being the winning work of the XIX National Amateur Theater Contest Isidoro Maiquez
The work, in addition to being the winning work of this contest in the edition of the year 2018, also received the award for Best Leading Actress and Best Staging in the same contest, and was nominated for the best address.
Rosas Blancas is adapted and directed by Almudena Martínez, who also represents her on stage, with set design and costumes by TSC Teatro and Ditirambo Espectáculos.
Almudena Martínez, accompanied by Fernando Augusto Andreo and Rubén Fabeiro, will make the audience part of this drama.
In the work they propose to change the point of view of history, to discover who that woman is and why he never knew her, after having spent three nights in her arms.
But it is not only the story of a young girl in love but the life of any of us, who passed by her without paying attention to the world around us.
We long for what we do not have and we are always looking for something better without stopping for a moment to discover that what we wanted was right next to us and we did not value it.
'White Roses' can be seen on October 19, at 9:30 p.m., at the Municipal Auditorium of 'El Batel'.
Tickets can be purchased for 10 euros on the El Batel website and at the box office of the auditorium itself.
