The painter from Cartagena, David Salomé, has inaugurated a new exhibition, 'Le jardín', in which he portrays the same gardens that Monet, Kandinsky or Sorolla have already painted.
The show can be seen until October 31 in the municipal room Carlos Gallego, Ramon Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center.
The councilman of the Culture area, David Martinez, and the mayor of Celebrations, Juan Pedro Torralba, attended the opening ceremony on Wednesday, September 26.
David Salomé was born in the deputation Cartagena de Canteras, in 1956, beginning his artistic career in 1974 with an exhibition of oil paintings in his hometown.
He counted on his training with the teachings of the masters: Ramón Alonso Luzzy, Enrique Navarro, Vicente Armiñana, Carmen Tomás and Asensio Sáez.
Salomé has to his credit with several prizes in painting contests, the last of them of 2017, first prize XII Contest of Painting 'Memorial Angel Flores', of the Department of Culture.
In his long career he has made about thirty samples, both individual and collective, most of them in Cartagena and La Union, although his works are dispersed by private collections of: La Union, Cartagena, Murcia, Alicante, Madrid, Barcelona , Paris, and Amsterdam, among others.
'Le jardín' can be visited between September 26 and October 31, in the Carlos Gallego Room, of the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center.
The visiting hours are from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and will open on Wednesday, September 26, at 7:30 p.m.
