The regional deputy of the PP has affirmed that "the commitment of the regional Government with Cartagena and the improvement of its educational infrastructures is firm and clear".
And he recalled that this year 2018 investments worth a million and a half euros "aimed at expanding and remodeling schools and colleges" are executed.
Actions such as the extension of the 'Ben Arabí' institute, the CEIP San Florentina de La Palma, the IES Politécnico or the La Atalaya school.
"The provisional use of prefabricated classrooms has to do precisely with the works of improvement and expansion that are in execution," said Victor Martinez-Carrasco who underlined "the will to eliminate them progressively as has happened with the existing ones in La Casa del Child, the IES 'Ben Arabí' and the CEIP Virgen de Begoña ".
And he recalled that "the Region of Murcia is one of the communities with fewer prefabricated classrooms, only 40 classrooms that represent 0.05 percent of the total of the 10,378 existing classrooms" 2E
Regarding school transport, the autonomous deputy of the PP has indicated that the Region of Murcia offers daily free transport to more than 18,500 students, "while in the communities where governs can schoolchildren have to pay."
