One more year, 'Cartagena Puerto de Culturas' will offer an open day on Friday, September 28, a holiday in the municipality for the Fiestas de Carthagineses y Romanos.
In this way, you can access for free the Roman Theater Museum, Augusteum, Forum Neighborhood, Punic Wall, Fortune House, Christmas Fort, Civil War Refuge Museum and Castillo de la Concepción.
On this day will not be included tourist transport.
The Fiestas de Carthagineses y Romanos, declared of International Tourist Interest, are being held in the city from the 21st and will end on September 30th.
During these ten days the city will remember the events that took place from its foundation by Asdrúbal el Bello until its conquest by Publio Cornelio Escipión during the Second Punic War.
Cartagena Port of Cultures has joined this celebration with different initiatives for festeros, Cartagena and all those who come to enjoy the festivities.
In addition, during the whole week of festivities, free access to these museums and sites is allowed to the festeros who are dressed in their Carthaginian or Roman costume.
On the other hand, Cartagena Puerto de Culturas and Renfe have joined together so that all those who travel by train to Cartagena, during the Fiestas, obtain special discounts when buying their long distance transport ticket, as well as a 2 x 1 discount on the tickets to the Museums of Cartagena Puerto de Culturas.
Likewise, Cartagena Port of Cultures also collaborates with the festivities of the city with free access in the panoramic lift on September 25, from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm, to witness 'Oracle of the goddess Tanit', that took place in the Torres Park auditorium.
