The dock of the Port of Cartagena became throughout the day of Saturday, September 22, in a large 'pool' to house the third edition of the 'City of Cartagena Waterpolo Tournament', in the framework of the start of the Carthaginian Festivities and Romans
The event, which attracted more than 350 participants from Bilbao, Ibiza, Madrid, Valencia, Alicante and the Region of Murcia, counted from the early hours of the morning with a large influx of people.
To emphasize, the victory of the Carthago Waterpolo Club in masculine absolute category, that put the finishing touch to the match when prevailing in a close final to Sant Josep (Ibiza).
In the female category, Turia (Valencia) took the victory after defeating the local girls, who finished in second place.
Finally, Waterpolo Morvedre (Sagunto) won the cadet and mixed children's category.
The tournament was organized by the Club Waterpolo Carthago, with the collaboration of the City of Cartagena through the Department of Sports and the Swimming Federation of the Region of Murcia.
