Castejón has participated in work and negotiation tables that the previous councilor Francisco Aznar had been blocked for months with the union organizations that make up the Board of personnel in this City Council.
The mayor has addressed the most urgent problems in Personnel and Human Resources and has proposed solutions to the situation in which there were numerous issues such as the payment of duty hours;
the consolidation and stabilization of the workforce of the municipality;
the promotion of selective processes such as the 15 new places of entry of Local Police.
Similarly, it has faced the negotiation of a new agreement on working conditions for all the workers of the City Council that has expired since 2015.
From the Trade Union section of CSIF in the Consistory of Cartagena, after seeing and assessing Castejón's willingness to negotiate, taking part in the negotiations to "unblock" all the aforementioned issues, we decided that "we see no reason to continue supporting the protests "that the UGT union called for next Friday, September 21, coinciding with the celebration of the Proclamation of the Feasts of the Carthaginians and Romans.
