The Alameda de San Antón became an improvised stage where a hundred boys and girls from various cycling schools and clubs occupied their road during the morning of Sunday, September 16 to show their skills in 'Exhibition of cycling schools of the Region of Murcia '.
An activity with which the City of Cartagena collaborates, through the Department of Sports and which is part of the Mobility Week.
In a circuit cut to road traffic and in part of the central pedestrian zone, where a gymkhana was developed, the young participants, whose ages ranged from 5 to 14 years old, were able to practice the sport of two wheels and demonstrate on the basis of Balance, dexterity, and speed, your skills in handling the bicycle.
Students from CC Los Dolores (Cartagena), Yecla Cycling School, Balaverde Team (Murcia), CC Roldan, Beniel CC, Jumilla Cycling School, Altiplano Club Ciclista, Yecla Cycling School, Sports Group Los Alcázares participated and CC Juan Zurano (Lorca).
The test consisted in making different turns to the closed circuit of 900 meters.
The number of laps was established according to each of the categories, which by age were: promises, beginners, fry and children.
The presentation of trophies was presided over by the mayor of Seguridad Ciudadana, Francisco Aznar, who presented the prizes to the winners of each category.
This event was possible thanks to the Exhibition of Cycling Schools that the Cartagena Cycling Club that was organized in collaboration with the Department of Sports of the City Council and the FCRM.
The arbitration was carried out by a team of collegiate of the Murcia Cycling Federation.

Second year promises: María Manzano Nicolás (Balaverde Team) and Iván Sánchez López (Balaverde Team).
Beginners first year: Lucia Gil Cayuela (Balaverde Team) and Samuel Martínez Socha (Valverde Team).
Beginners second year: Rocío Álvarez Palma (Altiplano CC) and Luis Cayuela Cánovas (CC Juan Zurano).
Fry first year: Tania Silvente Bernal (CC Los Dolores) and José David Tomás García (CC Los Dolores).
Second year fry: Almudena Vargas López (CC Juan Zurano) and Elías Caballero Sánchez (Balaverde Team).
Children's first year: Pablo Roda Sánchez (Balaverde Team).
Children's second year: José Membrive Herrera (Valverde Team).
