An agent of the Local Police of Cartagena in collaboration with a neighbor, intervened last Friday, September 14, in the resuscitation of a man who had entered cardiorespiratory arrest in the neighborhood of San José Obrero.
The agent had been required by witnesses who pointed out that a 69-year-old man was lying on the street for a possible case of a heart attack.
The agent and the 43-year-old neighbor performed the cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) maneuver until the arrival of the staff of a medical ambulance from 061 who continued with this resuscitation to be transferred to the Santa Lucía Hospital.
