HYBRID TRAINS
Hybrid trains of the 730 series are versatile vehicles that can circulate indistinctly by the international width lines and by the conventional width using the shaft exchanger installed in the Albacete Los Llanos station, which allows the connection between both infrastructures.
The hybrid train has both diesel and electric traction technology, which allows the advantages of high speed to be extended to non-electrified sections, with a maximum speed of 250 kilometers per hour.
For its part, the train Altaria has the series 334, a series of diesel-electric locomotives built by Vossloh under its commercial model Euro 3000 and are designed to transport passengers at 200 kilometers per hour by conventional lines without electrification.
As for prices, the launch of the Alvia starts with a promotion of 40 euros round trip from Cartagena, being the normal price without discounts of 55.6 euros.
For its part, the Altaria train has rates ranging between 35.9 and 55.5 euros on the round trip from the port city.
