The Roman Theater Museum of Cartagena hosts next Friday, September 14, the presentation of the new edition of 'Routes and historical itineraries of Cartagena', a very practical guide to get to know the city.
The book contains an update of the archaeological, historical-artistic and natural heritage of Cartagena and its surroundings.
'Routes and historical itineraries of Cartagena' will be presented at the museum by the author of the texts, Francisco Jesús Rodríguez;
as well as by Nuria Corbalán, representative of Editorial Corbalán;
He will be accompanied on the table by the Councilor for Culture, David Martínez, and the director of the Museum of the Roman Theater of Cartagena, Elena Ruiz.
ABOUT THE GUIDE
With a total of 123 pages illustrated with color photographs, the guide offers, with an accessible but rigorous language in its contents, a tour through the cultural heritage of the city with a clear educational and informative vocation.
The guide discovers the millenary city along four itineraries: archaeological, baroque - neoclassical, modernist - eclectic and contemporary.
This edition includes a novel section, as an annex, called 'Hidden Treasures' that highlights the latest archaeological findings.
The work is completed by two plans: a street map and another archaeological site to be placed on the route through the city.
The new edition of the guide can be purchased in bookstores, as well as in interpretation centers and museums in Cartagena.
The presentation of the new edition of 'Routes and historical itineraries of Cartagena' will take place in the auditorium of the Roman Theater Museum of Cartagena on Friday, September 14, at 8:00 p.m.
