This month of September, the Municipal Archive highlights as video of the month the appointment as Adoptive Son of Cartagena to the archaeologist Antonio Beltrán that issued TeleCartagena in 1994. The archeologist Antonio Beltrán received this distinction from José Antonio Alonso, the first municipal authority in 1994. The ceremony was held in the Plenary Hall of the Palace Hall, and was attended by representatives of the political, cultural and social world of Cartagena.
This graphic document is part of the legacy of the file that TeleCartagena transferred to the City of Cartagena, a year ago and after reaching an agreement with the Consistory.
The file that the local television gave to the City Council is composed of some 8,000 tapes in the formats UMATIC, BETACAM, DVCAM and VHS in which are images that are part of the recent history Cartagena since 1987, when TeleCartagena began its journey .
Currently, from the Consistory is working to digitize all these graphic documents, thus avoiding that this important part of the municipality is lost.
