Damián Romero has taken possession this afternoon as chief commissar of the National Police of Cartagena.
The simple formal ceremony took place this afternoon at the premises of the Government Delegation in the Mancomunidad de los Canales del Taibilla.
He has attended among other authorities, the president of the Regional Assembly, Rosa Peñalver;
the delegate of the Government, Diego Conesa;
the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón;
the Admiral of Maritime Action, Manuel de la Puente, and the Councilor for Public Safety, Francisco Aznar.
Damián Romero was from January of 2017 head of the Provincial Brigade of Public Safety of Murcia.
Born in Cartagena in 1961, he has developed a large part of his professional and personal life in the region, to which he is closely linked, especially to Cartagena.
