The Department of Education of the City of Cartagena has convened subsidies to which may opt the schools of the municipality.
The deadline to apply for grants will be open until September 21 of this year.
The bases can be consulted and downloaded on the bulletin board of the Cartagena City Council website.
On the one hand, the granting of subsidies to centers supported by public funds of Children and Primary for the preparation of materials is intended to favor project-based learning, experimentation and innovation in the classroom, cooperative work of students, the work by competences and tasks, the formation of creative classrooms of the artistic, mathematical or scientific field, and the use of new technologies in the classroom.
Likewise, it is intended to promote active learning, the search for resources, analysis, that share and structure information, make decisions, reach conclusions and communicate the results to the educational community.
The amount of these grants is a total of 10,000 euros.
On the other hand, they also opt for subsidies, Secondary Education Institutes, Integrated Vocational Training Centers, Official School of Languages, Professional Conservatory of Music and Local Adult Center of the municipality of Cartagena.
In this case, the aids will be used to carry out educational activities that carry out activities at the local, regional or national level, in which intellectual, linguistic, creative, computer, knowledge and use of another language are promoted and rewarded, singular actions in favor of education, and those that promote values ​​of tolerance and coexistence, all of them carried out in 2018, for which an amount of 9,000 euros will be allocated.
The deadline to request them is open until September 21, 2018. The bases were published in the Official Bulletin of the Region of Murcia, BORM, last August.
The bases can be consulted and downloaded in the 'Bulletin Board' of the municipal website, as well as in the section 'Scholarships, grants and subsidies'.
