The municipal photographer José Albaladejo Ros dies Throughout his long professional life, he captured in his snapshots the acts and activities of the City of Cartagena for almost two decades (06/09/2018)

The photographer of the City of Cartagena Jose Albaladejo Ros has died early in the morning at the Santa Lucia Hospital in Cartagena.

Pepe "the photographer", as he was affectionately known by all, developed an intense professional life, capturing in his snapshots all the municipal news, as well as that of neighborhoods and councils, during almost two decades.

The 55-year-old leaves a broad and extensive legacy of images not only of the recent history of the consistory but of parties, cultural and popular events, and places of interest of the municipality, as well as other institutions with which he collaborated as the Regional Assembly, COEC and the Cante de las Minas Festival, among others.

Most of his work corresponds to that carried out for the Communications and Protocol Office of the City of Cartagena, published and disseminated through the municipal website.

As a press reporter, he was a photographer for the delegation in Cartagena of Agencia EFE and Diario 16. He also collaborated with La Verdad and La Opinión.

He also participated in the origins of the Photographic Association of Cartagena (AFOCAR) at the beginning of the 80s of the last century.

The mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, has conveyed her condolences to the widow and her three children, on her behalf and on behalf of the entire Municipal Corporation.

The burning chapel will be installed throughout the morning in room 3 of the Tanatorio Estavesa (Paseo de Alfonso XIII).
