The students of Vicente Ros, CEIP Cuatro Santos, Gabriela Mistral, Feliciano Sánchez and José María Lapuerta schools will not be able to enjoy this course of the school canteens to which the Ministry of Education had committed.
The edile of Education, David Martinez Noguera, recalled Wednesday that from the regional administration itself said that these infrastructures were in the tender period.
"The school year begins next Friday and we have several centers that were promised the school cafeteria and this year they will not be able to use it either.
One of them, the Vicente Ros school, has been requesting it for a long time and would also provide the service to the students of the CEIP Cuatro Santos.
In the Gabriela Mistral we have done a toilet and the counseling has adapted the space but they have not done the kitchen, so we are in the same.
The Feliciano Sánchez and José María Lapuerta centers are also waiting, "the councilor explained.
REPAIRS WITHOUT EXECUTING
Martínez Noguera recalled that last summer the Ministry of Education made no investment in schools in Cartagena "and this year they have been left without doing three of the works to which they committed".
Among these commitments are also the repairs of both the roof of the CEIP San Isidoro and Santa Florentina and the façade of the Antonio Ulloa school that will have to continue waiting.
