The bus line 12 covering the route from the city center to the beach of Cala Cortina has extended its service until next September 16, although it was scheduled to end last weekend.
The councilman of Municipal Services, Juan Pedro Torralba, has indicated that this measure will encourage the many citizens who have already returned to the city of vacation can continue to enjoy the beach.
"In addition, we favor that the enjoyment of our coast is not limited to two months, helping to end seasonality," he said.
The beach bus will continue with its scheduled schedule for the months of July and August, with departures from the Plaza de España to Cala Cortina at 10:30, 12:00, 13:30, 16:00, 17:30, 19: 00 and at 8:30 p.m.
Departures from the urban beach will take place at 10:45, 12:15, 13:45, 16:15, 17:45, 19:15 and 20:45.
This service will also maintain its usual route with stops at Paseo Alfonso XIII;
specifically in front of the IES Jiménez de la Espada, the Bingo, the ONCE and the Regional Assembly;
in Captains Ripoll;
Bastarreche Square and Santa Lucía Office.
